Tai Sui 2027
Tai Sui (太岁) is the almanac tradition's name for a year's own branch. In 2027 that branch is 未, the Goat. A birth sign whose branch meets 未 in one of five traditional relations is said to meet Tai Sui (犯太岁) that year. This page lists those signs, from the same branch tables the calculator uses, plus the traditional six breaks (六破).

Birth years are Gregorian. A birth between 1 January and 立春 (Lichun, about 4 February) belongs to the previous year's sign, because the BaZi year begins at 立春.
The Goat is also called the Sheep or the Ram; all three name the branch 未.
Why the Dragon is not on the list
Some 2027 lists online name the Dragon as breaking with Tai Sui. In the traditional tables, 未 breaks with 戌, the Dog; 辰, the Dragon, has none of the five relations with 未.
Signs that combine with 未
Almanacs also note the branches that combine with the year's branch. In 2027 those are the Horse (午), in a six combination, and the Pig (亥) and Rabbit (卯), which complete the Wood three-harmony with the Goat. These are not said to meet Tai Sui.
The year-breaker days
The daily almanac marks the days whose branch clashes with the year's branch as 岁破, the year breaker. From 立春 (Lichun) on 4 February 2027 until 立春 2028, those are the Ox (丑) days, one in every twelve. Each day's page shows the mark.
Today's almanac ›Your whole chart, not only your birth year
Tai Sui lists look at one branch of your chart, the year's. A reading looks at all four pillars: its year card shows how the year meets your whole chart, month by month.
Calculate my chart ›Where the relations come from
Clash, harm and punishment come from the branch tables on the Clashes and combinations page, which the calculator uses for every chart; the break (破) pairs are the six breaks of the same tradition. The list is structural: it names relations between branches, and the site suggests nothing to do about them.
