How the days are chosen
A day is listed when the traditional day table, the 协纪辨方书 table that printed almanacs follow, lists 入宅 (moving into a new home) or 移徙 (relocating) among its suitable activities (宜), lists neither among the activities to avoid (忌), and does not mark the day 诸事不宜 (no undertakings). Day officers (建除), yellow and black path gods and the day's stars (神煞) all feed that table.
Each row also gives the day's overall verdict, the one its day page shows. That verdict scores the whole day, separately from the 宜 list, so a day listed here can still read Avoid overall.
Almanacs differ
Printed almanacs and websites follow different tables and day boundaries, so another almanac may list a few different days. This site switches to a new month's table on the day of the solar term that opens it, as printed almanacs do.
Each day clashes with one sign, the one opposite the day's branch. Traditionally, a day that clashes with your own birth sign is passed over.
